Hi! I'm Michelle. I'm a mom to four, a homeschooling parent, a former engineer/computer scientist, a charter school teacher, and a member of the Tri-Community. This website is my stewardship project as I work to become a certified California naturalist through Transition Habitat Conservancy. 

I hope to gradually add even more useful resources for those interested in spending more time outdoors, learning about our fascinating and beautiful land, and discovering ways we can protect and care for our home for years to come. I love hiking, photography, nature journaling, and pretty much any reason I can find to be outside in the sunshine. (I'm kind of a wimp when it comes to the cold, though. 🥶😂)
